There’s an army rising in the slums of Victoria City.
For fifteen years, the city has been forcibly relocating society’s “undesirables" to Canarsie, VC’s outermost borough. The streets are flooded with the impoverished and homeless, the disabled and mentally ill, addicts, criminals, and unwanted children. Anyone the city can’t be bothered with is exiled to an urban wasteland where the only law is- stay alive.
Ashton McMillan was relocated at fourteen, after his father’s brutal abuse left him half blind with some telltale scars; the nine years he’s spent in Canarsie feel more like a lifetime. But when he meets a mysterious girl on the run, Ash is thrown into the heart of the City’s underworld, joining Lydia Weaver and a wild crew of rebels ready to fight and die for their freedom.
